It streams rather than polls, it has a free tier, and its paid plans start at $3.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a Pro tier at $6.99 and $69.99, billed per vehicle. It publishes public statistics and leaderboards that are genuinely interesting, and for an owner who wants a solid streaming logger at the lowest price it is a sensible answer.
Its public data pages are a good example of what this category can do with aggregate telemetry when it is willing to publish rather than only sell, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend the comparison starts and ends with price.
Where DashM8 differs
