What shipped, and when

Every DashM8 release, dated and newest first, written for the people who use it rather than for a launch page.

The iPhone app is being prepared for the App Store. Changes listed for it are in the version it will launch with; the web app is live today.

Clearer navigation, AI assistants and lighter pages

  • WebA new top bar, Cars, Places, Costs, Reports and Account, and five tabs under each car: Home, Drives, Charging, Battery and Alerts. Drives and charging sessions have their own lists, and the period report moved to Reports.
  • Web and iPhoneWhen your car is parked somewhere without a name, Home offers to save the spot as Home, Work or Charger in one tap, and a trip offers to name the places it started and ended.
  • Web and iPhoneAI assistants: create a read-only token in Account and ask Claude, Cursor or another MCP assistant about your cars' real numbers. It cannot unlock, start, move or change anything.
  • WebApp preferences (language, units, currency and your home tariff) moved from Drives to Account.
  • Web and iPhoneThe monthly report now includes the last drives and charges of a month even if no list had shown them yet when the month closed.
  • Web and iPhoneOn the free plan, the period report now covers the same seven days as the drive and charging lists.
  • WebText contrast raised to meet WCAG AA, and the public pages load less: the Turkish dictionary only on Turkish pages, the sign-in code only where you sign in. A security update to the web framework went out the same day.
  • iPhone appThe iPhone app moves to the same structure: Home, Drives, Charging, Battery and More, with the same save-this-place prompts.

What each drive cost, and Pro for up to three cars

  • Web and iPhoneEvery drive shows what it cost, and says whether that cost is exact or an approximation.
  • Web and iPhonePro now covers one, two or three cars, and you can move between the levels on the web or in the App Store.
  • Web and iPhoneA price you type on one charge sticks to that place, so the next charge there is priced the same way.
  • Web and iPhonePro cars are asked for each field at most every two seconds instead of every second, which roughly halves what a busy car costs to stream and makes no difference you can see on screen. Free cars send most fields at most once a minute, with Sentry Mode within ten seconds and doors and locks within thirty.

Plans, a public website, and DashM8 in Turkish

  • Web and iPhonePlans: free for one car with seven days of history, Pro with the full history, tariffs and pack telemetry, and a founding lifetime licence. Pay on the web or in the App Store.
  • WebPrices in your currency, US dollars, euros, pounds or Turkish lira, with a switch to change it.
  • WebA public site in English and Turkish: features, comparisons, pricing, questions and answers, privacy, terms and support.
  • Web and iPhoneEverything in Turkish, speaking to you informally, in the app and on the site alike.
  • Web and iPhoneShort trips that were missing an efficiency figure now get one, and software updates report their progress every minute.
  • WebCar commands moved from the cockpit to a page of their own.
  • Web and iPhoneA new look: red on black, with the DashM8 pulse mark.
  • iPhone appThe iPhone app gets the new design, a demo mode with a sample car, and plans you can buy in the app.

Places, charging costs, battery health and alerts

  • Web and iPhonePlaces: name where your cars park or accept the spots DashM8 suggests, and every trip and charge shows the place name.
  • Web and iPhoneEvery charging session gets a price automatically, from a cost you typed, your Supercharger invoices or your tariffs by place and time, and says where it came from. Reports show cost per kilometre.
  • Web and iPhoneBattery health shows Tesla's own state of health beside our estimate, with its history. Pro adds pack telemetry: brick voltages, module temperatures and pack current.
  • Web and iPhoneAlerts: the car's own alert names, security events such as doors and Sentry Mode, quiet hours that critical alerts can pass, and notifications in your browser. Every notification starts with the car's name.
  • Web and iPhoneTrips can be tagged business, private or commute; a monthly report sums up each month, and a logbook can be printed and checked afterwards.
  • Web and iPhoneLock, climate and charging commands from the app, with a plain explanation whenever the car refuses one.
  • Web and iPhoneEach car appears as its own Tesla render instead of stock artwork, and trip detection was rebuilt so that parking ends a drive.
  • iPhone appThe iPhone app gains all of the above, plus a charging Live Activity on the lock screen.

Your data, under your control

  • Web and iPhoneExport all your data, disconnect Tesla or delete your account from the account page.
  • Web and iPhoneCharging sessions show the energy at the charger input separately from the energy added to the battery, and the loss between them.
  • Web and iPhoneUnits for distance, temperature, tyre pressure and time, and a choice of English or Turkish, saved to your account and shared between the web and the iPhone app.
  • Web and iPhoneTyre pressure warnings and cabin and outside temperature in the cockpit, plus a Sentry Mode history and notification settings for each car.
  • Web and iPhoneTelemetry is set up on your car automatically and checked every day, and a stream that stops is restored. Accounts in Europe and North America are each routed to the right Tesla region.
  • Web and iPhonePeriod reports, with the charging costs you saved.

The cockpit

  • WebA cockpit for each car with charging details, and a status taken from how fresh its data is rather than a guess.
  • Web and iPhoneTrips show their energy use and efficiency.
  • WebAn interactive trip card with its route on a map.

The first private beta

  • Web and iPhoneSign up, connect your Tesla and see its live telemetry on a dashboard.
  • Web and iPhoneTrips with their route drawn on a map and the real road distance.
  • WebA button to send your car its telemetry setup again.
