Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Vigilainte Inc., registered in Delaware, United States. Using DashM8 means you accept them.

DashM8 is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla can change its own APIs at any time, and some of what DashM8 shows depends on them.

What you need

A Tesla that supports Fleet Telemetry, a Tesla account you own, and DashM8 approved as a virtual key on the car. Without the key, your car will not stream and DashM8 will have very little to show you.

Your account

One account, yours, kept secure. You are responsible for what happens under it. Connect only cars you are entitled to see.

Plans and payment

Free costs nothing and stays available. Pro is sold weekly or yearly. The pricing page shows each plan in one of the currencies we sell in — US dollars, euro, pounds sterling or Turkish lira — and that is the currency Checkout charges; where a plan is not sold in yours, it is shown and charged in US dollars.

Weekly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not pro-rated.

Purchases made on this website are taken by Stripe. Purchases made inside the iPhone app are taken by Apple, under Apple's terms, and are managed in the App Store.

The founding lifetime licence

The founding licence is a single payment for continued access to the Pro features, sold to the first 100 owners and then withdrawn. Precisely:

• •It belongs to one DashM8 account and covers up to 3 cars on that account.
• •It is not transferable and cannot be resold or moved to another account.
• •It carries no free trial; it is bought outright.
• •It covers Pro as it exists and as it grows, for as long as we operate DashM8. It does not include any future fleet or business tier, should we build one.
• •It does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds

If you bought inside the iPhone app, Apple holds the money and only Apple can refund it. Request it through Apple's own refund process; we cannot do it for you.

If you bought on this website, write to support@dashm8.com and tell us what happened. We would rather refund someone than argue with them.

Cancelling and ending

Cancel a web subscription from your account page, which opens the payment provider's own portal. Cancel an App Store subscription in the App Store. You can delete your DashM8 account at any time; deleting it does not by itself cancel a subscription held by Apple.

We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to access cars its owner is not entitled to.

Commands and safety

DashM8 can send commands your car accepts — locking, climate, charging. They travel through Tesla and can fail, arrive late, or be refused by the car. Do not rely on DashM8 for anything safety-critical, and never rely on it to secure a vehicle or a person.

What we do not promise

DashM8 is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that Tesla will keep streaming, or that every number is exact. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may change these terms or our prices. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and never to a founding lifetime licence already bought. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States. Nothing here removes a consumer right you hold where you live.
