The demo garage is the product itself, filled with one sample car: open the cockpit, look through a drive and a charging session, read the battery card. Every number in it is invented and labelled as such — nothing to install, no account to link.

Speed, gear, location, charge state and Sentry arrive every second while the car is awake. A stale field says how old it is instead of guessing.
We count what went in and what reached the pack.
Every session shows energy at the plug, energy into the battery, and the loss between them in kWh and per cent. Set a tariff per place and time, read your Supercharger invoices, see cost per kilometre with the losses in it.

Our SoC-normalised range measurement sits next to the state-of-health figure Tesla reports for your VIN, with the history of both. Pro adds Stats for geeks: brick voltages, module temperatures, pack current.

Only genuinely parked, not-charging samples count, so the per-day figure is drain and not driving; every stretch shows its confidence.

Questions owners actually ask.
Is DashM8 made by Tesla?
No. It is an independent app from Vigilainte Inc., not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. It uses Tesla's official Fleet API and Fleet Telemetry, and you sign in on Tesla's own page.
How is one-second data different?
Most apps poll — they ask the car for its state every 30 to 60 seconds. DashM8 registers as a telemetry endpoint and the car pushes its values as they change, down to one second.
Will it wake my car or drain the 12 V battery?
Reading never wakes the car, because we ask it nothing. Only a command you press — lock, climate, charge limit — reaches it.
What do I need to set it up?
A Tesla account, and a virtual key paired with each car so commands work. The key can wait.
Which cars work?
Any Tesla that supports Tesla's Fleet Telemetry. DashM8 asks your car to start streaming as soon as you connect it and shows you exactly what the car answered, so you find out on the free plan, before paying anything.
Where is my data, and can I remove it?
Hosted in Germany (Hetzner), in the European Union. No analytics vendor sees your car. Export as CSV or GPX any time; delete your account and the raw telemetry goes with it.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account page or your App Store subscriptions. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the free tier keeps your export.
Why is there a paid plan?
Tesla bills us for every signal your car sends, and one second of data is a lot of signals. The plans cover that and the servers. No ads, no data selling.
