Six things a one-second telemetry stream lets us tell you that a read every half minute cannot. Each has its own page, with the method written out.

The stream is the whole argument

Most Tesla apps poll: they ask the car for its state on a timer, usually every thirty to sixty seconds, and a poll can wake a sleeping car. DashM8 registers as a telemetry endpoint instead, and the car pushes its own values as they change — down to one second, across thirty-six fields, without ever being asked anything.

That difference is not a feature list. It is what makes the six pages below possible at all: you cannot measure a charging loss from one end of the cable, and you cannot separate parked drain from driving if you only look twice a minute.

What each page covers

Every feature page states its method before its result, because a number without a method is a marketing claim.

Live telemetry — speed, charge, location and Sentry, one second apart, with a staleness label on every field.
